Beams Plus was launched in 1999 by Beams, the lifestyle retailer founded in 1976 in Tokyo’s Harajuku as an American lifestyle shop. The label was created to carry on the company’s passion for genuine American styles, combining classic American silhouettes with Japanese craftsmanship. Its denim is made in Japan, including an 11.8oz selvedge woven on a 1960s power loom from American-grown Texas cotton. Beams Plus is known for its collections of American casual wear, from knit polos to military smocks.
