Deluxeware Denim

Established in 2005 in Odate, Akita, Deluxeware is led by Hayato Muramatsu and handles everything from planning and cutting to sewing, quality control, and sales in-house. Most garments are sewn at its own factory, which shares a building with the brand’s shop, by a team of largely local sewers. The brand deliberately uses vintage sewing machines from the early 1900s and applies techniques from American clothing made between the 1940s and 1970s. Its jeans, shirts, and sweatshirts are wholesaled across Japan and exported to eleven countries.
