Denime Denim
Established in Kobe in 1988 by designer Yoshiyuki Hayashi, Denime grew from its founder’s fascination with vintage American jeans. Its early XX and 66 models were based on jeans from the 1950s to the 1970s, and the brand became known for faithful reproductions of vintage American denim with precise detailing. The company behind Denime has changed several times, and the line is now handled by Warehouse, which researched the original fabrics by contacting staff involved in their development.
