Hollywood Ranch Market Denim
Hollywood Ranch Market opened in Sendagaya, Tokyo, in 1972 as a shop for American casual clothing and moved to Daikanyama in 1979, where it has remained. It is run by Seilin & Co., whose own labels also include Blue Blue Japan. The shop’s first original item was a soft gauze bandana, made in Japan from the start. Its denim includes selvedge jeans woven on old-style shuttle looms, and the brand is also known for Stretch Fraise, a T-shirt fabric now three decades old.
