Imperial Denim

Imperial is an Australian label run by brothers Jordan and Cameron Votan, with a line inspired by the country’s shearers and graziers. Its first example was the Imperial Shearing Pants, known as Shearers. The brand once cut and sewed Japanese denim in Australia and later moved all production to Japan, from yarn and dye through weaving, finishing, cutting, and sewing. Its collaborations with Self Edge use custom loomstate selvedge denim, including a 15.5oz fabric woven in Kojima by Misuzu Denim.
