Levi's Vintage Clothing Denim

Levi’s Vintage Clothing launched its European collection in 1996, drawing on the Levi Strauss & Co. archive in San Francisco, which holds about 20,000 historic denim garments. Each season, its designers select archive pieces and recreate them closely, studying fabric weight, twill, stitching, and pocket placement, with grading into a full size range as the only change. After Cone Mills closed in 2017, LVC moved fabric production to Kaihara in Japan, and its range includes Japanese-made reproductions of the 1933, 1937, 1944, and 1947 501.
