Red Card Tokyo Denim

Founded in 2009 by Yuji Honzawa, Red Card grew out of a career that included about ten years at Edwin and six at Levi Strauss Japan, followed by work as an independent denim consultant. The brand set out to offer Made in Japan quality at a price under about ¥20,000, drawing its fabrics mainly from Kaihara and Kurabo. Honzawa describes his approach through three words: fit, fabric, and finish. Under the Red Card Tokyo name, the label is known for three-dimensional washes and worn-in finishes that recall real vintage denim.

Actual garment measurements for all 28 Red Card Tokyo models in the Fit Finder: waist through leg opening, with widths measured flat and the waist doubled.
