Schaeffer's Garment Hotel Denim

Founded in 2009 by Robert Schaeffer, a former motocross racer from Texas, Schaeffer’s Garment Hotel began as a Hollywood sewing house and shop specializing in high-quality denim. Its jeans are cut and sewn in Los Angeles from Japanese selvedge denim, in rope-dyed indigo or sulphur-dyed cloth, with chain-stitched seams sewn by tailors in the loft above the store. The shop also makes its own T-shirts and hats and offers tailoring to each customer’s specifications.
