Viapiana Denim

Founded in 2006 by Ben Viapiana, who made his first pair of jeans at 16 under the influence of his tailor father, Viapiana is a small custom denim label. Ben Viapiana has made jeans to order by hand in both Bangkok and Toronto, where he now works from a studio filled with sewing machines from several historical eras, and in Bangkok he worked with Lauren Yates on W’menswear’s first collection. The label is known for custom and historically detailed denim, with releases such as Kuroki-woven Japanese selvedge jeans handmade in Toronto.
