Established in 2002 by Shinichi Haraki, Iron Heart began as a clothing brand for Japan’s motorcycling community, drawing on Haraki’s two decades in the Japanese garment industry, where he started as a pattern maker. Its company, Works Inc, is based in Japan with offices in Shibuya and Hachioji, and works mostly with small, family-run mills and workshops. The brand is known for heavyweight denim and durable fabrics, including Japanese-made jeans in cloth as heavy as 21oz and beyond.
