About Real Japan Blues

Launched in 2005 as a label of The Flat Head, which is based in Nagano Prefecture, Real Japan Blues makes its jeans in Japan. They are typically cut from 100% Zimbabwe cotton loomstate denim, and the brand has produced a 14oz unsanforized Zimbabwe cotton cloth for collaborations made at The Flat Head’s facilities. Its RFR-002, made with Rivet & Hide, uses a 14oz rope-dyed Zimbabwe cotton selvedge and takes its styling cues from The Flat Head’s 3002.
