About TCB

TCB began in 2007, when Hajime Inoue opened a sewing factory in Kojima, Okayama, that first sewed for other brands before launching its own TCB jeans line in 2012. The name stands for both “Taking Care of Business” and “Two Cats Brand,” after the two cats Inoue kept when the brand started. Its jeans and everyday workwear draw on vintage American clothing, made from proprietary fabrics and sewn on vintage 1950s and 1960s machines in the company’s own Kojima factory.
